Tomorrow is D-Day

Tomorrow is the day that I pray all my post partum nonsense is over. I'm going back to the doctors to have my Nexplanon birth control removed and check for another ovarian cyst. I have been counting down the days until I feel like I have control over my body. I haven't felt like this since I found out I was pregnant in January 2013.

Here's the low down of what has been going on. I found out I had a 10cm ovarian cyst at my 6 week scan in February 2014. The doctors kept an eye on it while I was pregnant to make sure it didn't burst or harm the baby. At four weeks post partum I had the nexplanon birth control inserted before we moved to North Carolina. All of my post partum bleeding and most of the baby weight was gone by then. This was when everything started messing up.  Three months post partum I had surgery to remove the cyst and the doctors were hoping the cyst was the cause of my continuous post partum bleeding, they were wrong. The cyst came back non cancerous but it caused massive scarring to my fallopian tube as it was wrapped completely around it. I had a severe chance of losing my ovary but they were able to save it! Thank God! My bleeding stopped for about 2 weeks then came back with a vengeance. Fast forward to April 2014 (7 months post partum) and the bleeding was still uncontrollable and I've gained over 35 pounds, weighing in at my heaviest around 170lbs. Back to the doctors I went. After my initial visit it was determined that my nexplanon is the cause of the weight gain and bleeding. Dr. Miller also felt some tenderness and scheduled me for an ultrasound to check for another cyst.

So tomorrow is the day! Nexplanon removal and ultrasound all in one. Once I get tomorrow morning over I feel like I can finally be in control of my body. I'll be able to start working out and working on getting my body back! I will be starting my Herbalife Nutrition Plan full force on Wednesday and will be doing either weekly or bi-weekly, and monthly updates on here as well as on my instagram @torigranados to help me have some extra support on my weight loss journey!!

    Wish me luck tomorrow!

P.S. We are in the middle of spring cleaning right now so once we finish that look forward to more posts!
